10/40 Window is an area stretching from North Africa to the Middle East and as far away as parts of Asia. This area is located between the 10th and 40th degree of latitude north of the equator. Population-wise, there are huge amounts of people in this area, and here you have many of the world’s least evangelized countries. In this part of the world there are many of the world’s unreached people groups. Poverty, misery and great distress is found in many places of this area. Right here we need plant churches and the gospel needs to be preached.
10/40 window is a challenge for the church today. Today, many of our missionaries and mission projects works in countries where there are far more Christians than in our own countries. The church needs to accept the challenge and think more of the pioneer mission and the unreached people groups.
The pioneering heart wants to work with the pioneering mission to unreached areas and inspire both a greater understanding and involvement of the church in this part of the world.
Matthew 24:14 “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.”
