Go-Day Sweden May 23rd

Then Jesus came forward and spoke to them, saying: “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20 SFB15

Did you know that there are 4,767 people groups, comprising nearly 2 billion* individuals in the world, who do not know Jesus Christ? Nine out of ten Christians never share the gospel with another person.

That is why we have Go-Day, a day when millions of believers in over 140 countries go out to witness and share the gospel with those around them.

Go-Day started in 2010 after Werner Nachtigal received a vision to mobilize believers from all parts of the Body of Christ to go out and actively engage in the Great Commission on the same day.

Go-Day encourages: Individuals to share the gospel with another person on this day. Invite a friend for coffee and share your testimony. Churches to undertake various creative initiatives to share the gospel in different ways, such as coffee stands in public spaces, pancake churches, distributing Bibles, organizing a concert, posting on social media, holding public meetings, children’s events, giving out roses with decorative cards containing Bible verses, and performances involving singing, dancing, and drama, among others.

The next Go-Day is on Penticost Eve, 23/5-26.

Marcus Palmblad and his team lead this work in Sweden. And in this team are, among others, Daniel Karlsson and David Engblom from our ministry.

Let us together create ripples in the water that ultimately transform Sweden, one heart at a time, on May 23rd!
